Fantasy Love

Fantasy Love
Sitting there on the plane headed to Paris, Sydney dreamed of the love she hoped to find. She wanted someone to come in and sweep her off her feet; to make her feel like no one else has ever done; to call her baby and tell her how beautiful she is, even when she's just wearing no make up and sweats.
Pulling out her new book, promoted to her by her best friend, Sydney flipped to the last page she had left off on. The book was called "Simple Love" which was ironic in Sydney's opinion. There was no such thing as simple love, that was just a fantasy; a fairytale, the reality was love was hard to find, and difficult, lots of work and fights, barely making it through.
Reading  through five pages about an intense love screen, Sydney's mind wandered off as she began to slip away. Soon she was in a new place; a fantasy. She watched herself live a perfect life. She saw herself waking up in an elegant off white master bedroom like you'd imagine a queen living in. Next to her laid a handsome muscular man that she had never seen before, he had dark brown hair and deep-set hazel eyes.
She watched the man and herself, the way they reacted to each other and the vibe both of their bright smiles gave off. She could see the love radiating off them, and how he starred passionately at her like his eyes were making love to her, as if there was never a more beautiful girl. She saw the joy he was bringing to herself, the way he was making her laugh and the true joy she could see in herself. She watched as he tackled her to the floor, tickling her, and heard the screams she squealed of laughter as her got her. It was the happiest she had ever seen herself and it brought true joy as she saw the dream from a distance.
Hearing the flight attendants voice come across the speaker, Sydney snapped back from her beautiful fantasy. Her heart sinking at the realization that it wasn't a reality made her feel determined to find love. She wanted that feeling, that kind of love she had just seen. No matter what she was determined to make it happen, to have that fairytale love, in "the city of love."
